To initiate a ROOTS program, Corporate Health Partners will:

Influence: Meet with key personnel to secure senior level support and engagement in the program from the roots up within the company.

Inspire: Begin positive communications and interactions with participants to spark interest and establish the benefit and value of the program, as well as to convey their ‘ownership’ in the wellness opportunity. This helps employees see wellness as a benefit offered for them, rather than as a requirement imposed on them.

Incentivize: Design an incentive plan to motivate the majority—participants may include full and part-time employees, spouses—to participate from the get-go and work toward results long term. We can create rewards for participation or for reaching pre-set goals such as cholesterol, obesity, blood pressure or smoking.

Ignite: Launch the program with only minimal required coordination or involvement from your HR team. This leaves the heavy lifting to Corporate Health Partners and lets staff members get back to the work they were hired to do.

Risk Assessments: Administer annual risk assessments, implementable online or on paper, and best conducted in conjunction with health screenings or wellness fairs.

Health Screenings: Hold annual screenings to track an array of standard health data for participants, including blood pressure, glucose, BMI, full lipid panel, waist circumference. More testing options are available; inquire for details.

Because we know that onsite account leadership directly leads to better outcomes, we assign every client a certified lifestyle coach to be present weekly to intervene, inspire and integrate wellness into the corporate culture.

Team Coaching: Establish and nurture wellness teams through hands-on leadership and practical guidance.

Competitions: Lead 3 to 4 organized, results-inspiring competitions annually to create excitement, keep fresh, address seasonal challenges and instill accountability for wellness efforts. Examples include Biggest Loser competitions, Maintain Don’t Gain programs and Battle of the Holiday Bulge events.

Individual Counseling: Provide customized, concentrated guidance to individuals, opening the chance to address issues, concerns or personal goals in a safe, private situation for employees.

Education/Awareness Classes: Offer a full battery of relevant educational opportunities with topics specially selected to address companies’ health risk assessment indicators, commonly found personal goals and basic lifestyle skills. Subjects may include Stress Management, Fitness 101, Nutrition Basics, Reading Food Labels, Portion Control Tips, etc.

Promotions & Communications: Create and manage communications efforts and unique promotions to keep participants fully informed, engaged and motivated. All monthly activities and events are promoted with our “three times—three ways” formula to get the word out.

Community Health Event Participation: Lead organized employee involvement in community/citywide health events, including charitable opportunities such as heart walks, 5Ks, marathons or half-marathons.

Custom Web Portal/Online Info Center: Maintain a current wellness site for participants to have 24/7 access to the latest events, updates, appointment tracking and team communications, as well as valuable, robust health information and content from industry leaders and trusted sources.
